Feltmaking for beginners

A half day course for the total novice. We will make two samples of flat felt: one plain and one with trapped fibres. At the end of the course you will feel confident to make felt without flooding your kitchen! Includes all materials plus a starter kit to take home and try on your own.
£35 (Numbers limited to a maximum of 6)

 Felting Vessels

A full day course for the more experienced felter. Using the resist method of wet felting, we will make two felted bowls. Each bowl will have a contrasting outside/inside and we will be using silk and kid mohair fibres to create a beautiful handmade vessel. This method is the basis for making hollow forms such as bags and slippers.

£40 (Numbers limited to a maximum of 5)

 Needlefelting for Beginners

A full day course for the more experienced felter who would like to try a dry felting method. We will be making both 2d & 3d work using the felting needle and embellisher.
